Hatching Sands

The Hatching Sands of Oulus Weyr have lain dormant for many a Turn, something that has caused much grief inside the Weyr. It's a shame, too--the Sands really are gorgeous, and are probably some of the most beautiful Hatching Sands on Pern. They're quite expansive and the sand glistens like diamons, but it's more than a little eerie with the lack of sound and life inside.
